About

Kimberly LaRue, Mindfulness Coach, is a compassionate multi-faceted healer, teacher and speaker who applies the skills acquired over 30 years to facilitate personal healing and wholeness. Her passion is to introduce others to the innate wisdom of the body by fostering awareness; clearing embedded physical, energetic and mental patterns and imparting techniques and practices that expand mind/body integration. Her ability to coach is effective and successful by facilitating and encouraging clients to have compassionate insight into life’s challenges.  The primary modalities of Kimberly’s work are CranioSacral (CST) and massage therapy, yoga and mindfulness meditation in conjunction with with hypnotherapy and guided visualization.

Kimberly is a graduate of the Upledger Institute from which she has received advanced CST training credentials and works as a teacher’s assistant. Her expertise enables her to assist everyone from children to older adults as well as women during pregnancy. This gentle, hands-on method is especially effective for those dealing with cancer, nervous system and immune disorders.

As a natural progression from teaching aerobics and exercise for 18 years, Kimberly became a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and worked for Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Studios in Chicago. During this time she also studied Structural Integration (Rolfing) and plunged into her passion for yoga.

Over her career as both a yoga student and instructor, she has received training from many yoga notables including David Swenson, Seane Corne, Erich Schiffman, Gary Kraftsow, Shiva Rea, Paul Grilley and Sara Powers. Kimberly leads inspirational and gently-challenging classes in area venues including the Breakers Hotel, Hotel Biba and the Palm Beach Dharma Center. She also teaches “Beach Baby Yoga” for pregnant women and conducts an annual Exotic Yoga Retreat in Bali with her husband Eric, who is also a yoga instructor.

For Kimberly, the source that nourishes her, her practice and clients is meditation. She is a long-time student of the highly regarded Tibetan meditation masters, the Venerable Khenpo Rinpoches. Under their tutelage she facilitates calm abiding meditation and yoga classes at the Palm Beach Dharma Center, where she also maintains her main office.  She also incorporated other meditation and visualization techniques to facilitate healing, and has given numerous talks in the area on this subject, including the 15th District Courthouse.

She is also trained in herbalism and aromatherapy, certified in Tibetan Sound Healing and has trained with Donna Eden in Energy Medicine for Women and Advanced Energy Medicine.

Mindfulness training is designed to teach participants how to integrate and apply mindfulness in their everyday lives and to the range of challenges arising from medical and psychological conditions and life stresses.  She has participated in the 7-day MBSR professional training program, under the direction of Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn and Dr. Saki Santorelli. She teaches day-long meditation retreats and 8-week in-depth intensive training in mindfulness meditation and mindful hatha yoga.

Kimberly is available for consultations as a healing and mindfulness coach.  Coaching deals with present time and forward-moving possibilities, creating seeds for transformation for what you have been longing for.  Don’t hesitate, contact me today for a consultation.  561-714-6131
